The Moody Boar

Fresh from honing their skills for over half a decade in Priory House Restaurant in Benburb, Sean and Ramune Farnan opened the Moody Boar in 2012 to great acclaim.
When Armagh City & District Council offered the opportunity to lease the restaurant in the surrounding of the Georgian stables, Sean and Ramune jumped at the chance.
They took with them a team that achieved recognition by the Michelin Guide and Georgina Campbell’s 'The Ireland Guide'.
Set next to the ‘Garden of the Senses‘, the team work tirelessly to infuse the smells and flavours from the grounds by maintaining their own restaurant garden and foraging within the park.
With four menus to choose from, including their after work set menu, the team at The Moody Boar strive to ensure that the fantastic atmosphere of their restaurant is coupled with the best possible dining experience Armagh has to offer.
The relaxed feel of the restaurant, the quirky décor and friendly staff make a meal in The Moody Boar an experience not to be missed.

"Moody Boar is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting on council grounds Food is very good and it is really worth a visit."
